2013/03-2013/11 – Human Resource for Health – Pilot Project in five VDCs of Sankhuwa-Sabha district.
Astha Forum for Infrastructure Development (AFID) implemented a pilot project from March 2013 to November 2013 in 5 Village Development Committees (VDCs) of Sankhuwa-Sava district in Nepal as part of the Support to Health Workforce through Civil Society Engagement project funded by the European Union and Ladham Trust. In the pilot, AFID represented the eastern mountainous district Sankhuwa-Sava and Baneshwor, Num, Nundhaki, Matsyapokhari, and Siddhapokhari Village Development Committees (VDCs).

20130703 – Inauguration of Gopal Bhagat Pradhan Memorial Hospital and free health check-up service
In affiliation with AFID, Gopal Bhagat Pradhan Memorial Hospital was established in loving memory of Late Gopal Bhagat Pradhan who passed away on April 7, 2012. On July 3, 2013, the hospital was inaugurated and free health check-up service was provided.
